Admissions

Applying to Evergreen Academy is easy — you can apply in person or online. The following information will be needed based on your application type.

Application Procedure:

New International Students

Fill out the application and pay the $150 non-refundable application fee. Click here to Apply Online.

  • Send us a copy or a scanned copy of your bank statement confirming that there is $17,000 USD in your account (please have an additional $5,000 USD per person if you will have any dependents).
  • If you have a sponsor in the U.S., please send his/her bank statement along with a completed I-134 form. If your sponsor is outside the U.S., get a Financial Affidavit from that country that is confirmed by a public notary.
  • Send us a copy of your passport.
  • Pay application fee (non-refundable): $150
  • Pay SEVIS fee (non-refundable): $350
  • Pay International mailing fee (non-refundable): $70
  • Total: $520

*Tuition (1ˢᵗ Session: 2 months): $1,390.00

Once you have completed the above procedures, we will issue your Initial I-20 and have it sent to you along with the SEVIS payment receipt and your acceptance letter. Upon receipt of these documents, you will need to schedule an appointment for an interview with an American consul in the U.S. Embassy.

After you have received your visa, you can enter the U.S. 30 days prior to your starting date at the school. You will then take a placement test, make your tuition payment and receive your continued I-20 from the school. Change of Status

Change of Status MUST be filed within 45 days of the end of the student’s current status.

Fill out the application and pay the $150 non-refundable application fee.

  • Send us an original bank statement confirming there is $17,000 USD in your account (add $5,000 USD per person if you will have a dependent).
  • If you have a sponsor in the U.S., send his/her bank statement along with a completed I-134 form. If your sponsor is outside the U.S., get a Financial Affidavit from that country that is verified by a public notary.
  • Send us a copy of your passport and visa
  • Bring the original I-94 if you entered the country before 2013 or a printout if you entered after.
  • Complete and sign the Change of Status Form: I-539 electronically and save it in case you need to make changes.
  • Bring a signed cover letter with the following information:
    • What were you doing as a __ visa?
    • Why do you want to change to an F-1 visa?
    • What do you plan to do after you finish the program and go back to your country?
    • List of the documents you enclose with the application.
  • Required payments:
    • Application fee (non-refundable): $150
    • SEVIS fee (non-refundable): $350
    • Processing fee (non-refundable): $500 (For F-1) +$200 for spouse and +$100 for each additional family members
    • Separate Check / Money Order (non-refundable) written out to the “US Department of Homeland Security” $370 + $85 per person = $455 US Department of Homeland Security
    • Total: $1455

Transferring Students

Fill out the application and pay the $150 non-refundable application fee. The form may be found here: Apply Online.

  • Send us a copy or scan of your bank statement confirming there is $17,000 USD in your account (add $5,000 USD per person if you will have a dependent).
  • If you have a sponsor in the U.S., please send his/her bank statement along with a completed I-134 form. If your sponsor is outside the U.S., get a Financial Affidavit from that country that is confirmed by a public notary.
  • Fill out the top portion of the Transfer-In Form.
  • Send a scan of the following items:
    • Your passport, visa, and current I-94.
    • Current school’s I-20 and any other I-20 you have.
  • Evergreen Academy will fax your “Acceptance Letter” and “Transfer-In Form” to your current school. We will call you to come in and take your placement test, pick up your new I-20, and enroll.
  • Upon enrollment, you will pay the first session tuition of $1390.
  • Required payments include:
  • Application fee (non-refundable): $150.
  • Tuition (1st Session: 2months): $1390.
  • Total: $1540

Re-instatement

Fill out the application and pay the $150 non-refundable application fee. The form may be found here: Apply Online.

  • Send us an original bank statement documenting that there is more than $17,000 USD in your account (add $5,000 USD per dependent).
  • If you have a sponsor in the U.S., send their bank statement along with a completed I-134 form. If your sponsor is outside the U.S., obtain a Financial Affidavit from that country that is verified by a public notary.
  • Send us a copy or scan of your passport, your Visa I-94, current school’s I-20, and any other I-20 you have.
  • Complete Reinstatement Form: I-539 electronically and save it in case you need to make changes. Write “REINSTATEMENT” in red ink at the top of the form. In part 2, Question 1, check “c” and write “Reinstatement to F-1 Status” If you have dependents, include them in the application.
  • Bring the original transcripts from all of the schools you attended.
  • Tentative acceptance is based on the reasons for your termination. Bring a cover letter explaining the circumstances.
  • If accepted, Evergreen Academy will write you a recommendation letter.
  • Required payments:
    • Application fee (non-refundable): $150
    • SEVIS fee (non-refundable): $350
    • Processing fee (non-refundable): $500
    • Separate Check / Money Order (non-refundable) written out to the department of Homeland Security: $370 + $85 (per person) = $455
    • Total: $1455

You will then receive your initial I-20: Reinstatement Requested. You must remain in good status while this application is pending.
